-Guam t is impossible to describe how much work goes into '45 a cruise book. The pro- cess starts with the collec- tion and organization of pho- tographs. The rough layout forms are prepared and the bugs are worked out before the final layout forms are pre- pared. From the date of ship- ment of all the final materials, the book takes twelve weeks to manufacture and ship. Welfare and Recreation was extremely helpful in voting funds for the book and they purchased one book for each Ensign Joe Stengel crewmember. Special thanks for photog- raphy goes out to all the peo- ple who submitted pictures to supplement those taken by YN5 Doll and ST C15 Hall - Ltig Loncto, Ltig Davis, Ltig Schick, .
