I-' The Seal of the United Nations FOREWGRD Since the very beginning of the development of nations there has been o universal desire on the part of the malority ot nations to exist together In a peaceable and understanding manner We realize that only through such an understanding will we be able as individuals and as a nation to attain those higher United Nations is of great hopes that it is the basis upon which to build a world of peace and brotherhood But these hopes can only be fulfilled when each individual begins peace and brotherhood in his own church his own home and his very own heart by doing unto others as he would have them do unto him Although we have made many valuable contributions in science and education the peoples of the world still have greater fields in which to apply their strength and courage before everyone may look forward to peace peace of our hearts of our United States and of the entire world 5 standards of living and progress which will remain as a mark of our achievement.
