eruor Cfcwfi ,ivafiforg In September 1950, there entered into our dear ole Hlgh School, a group of elght bright and shiny youngsters, dubbed by the upper class men as Wfreshlesn, but who hoped to become the greatest class ever to graduate from Steele City Hlgh The members of the class were Darlene Speth, Mardee Zabokrtsky, Dorls Eden, Ila Kozak, Carol Brel, Dale Helvey, Dlck Sampson, and Cec1l Graham The officers were President Ila Kozak Secretary Dorls Eden Treasurer Carol Brel Student Councll Cecil Graham When school opened ln l95l, we were entitled to the name of sophomores There were the same eight again, and slnce we dld not want to act too sophisticated, we gave a party for the freshmen, called IH1t1at1On The officers for this year were President Mardee Zaborrtsky Secretary Carol Brel Treasurer Dale Helvey Student Councll Mardee Zabokrtsky Slnce we had Journeyed half through our goal we found ourselves to be looked up to by the lower classmen, as be remembered by everyone During this year we lost Carol Brel, Ila Kozak, and Cecll Graham, we W1Sh them happiness ln their new home This year held many events, we had our Junior Senior Banquet, and after careful COHS1deFat1OD we chose what we thought was the best class rings ever selected at Steele City High School The Officers were President Mardee Zabokrtsky V President Dorls Eden Secretary Darlene Speth Treasurer Dale Helvey Student COUHC1l Mardee Zabokrtsky and Dale Helvey Seniors, we were ln the September o 1953 W S6n1OTS consldered ourselves superior ln rank when we elected the following officers who served the class falth fully through out the year The Officers were President Dorls Eden Secretary -Mardee Zabokrtsky Treasurer Darlene Speth Student COUHC11 Mardee Zabokrtsxy and Dale Helvey Class Motto 'Look ahead for our future lles theren Class Color: Royal Blue and White Class Flower: American Beauty Rose . 0 Juniors in 1952.
