She has the nicest disposition you could ask for, and anytime you see her she's either singing or telling jokes. Betty's going to be different and study to be a beautician. NICHOLAS WILLIAM GEORGE Nick Vocational Shop Course: Glee Club 1, 23 Football 3, 4, Bowling 4, S Club 4. If what you really want is competition in bowling or pool, Nick's your man. He's another Gordon McRae when it comes to singing- just ask any boy in machine shop. With girls it's a different story. Nick's a changed man, so shy and quiet. Just don't forget it's Leap Year, Nick! IJOMINIC CROCE GIACHETTI, JR. aanomrl Vocational Shop Course: Northern Maine Music Festival 1, 2, Glee Club 1, 2, 3, Football 1, 2, 3, 4, S Club 3, 45 Operetta 4. Dom is a good worker in shop and very ambitious, too. He played one of the leads in the operetta, Words and Music. Every day he transports a group of Little Italy students to school in his tan Chevrolet-always on time! Dom is going to look wonderful in Air Force blue. WILLIAM WALLACE HALE, JR. WILLIAM JOHN HALLETT Willie Hawk Vocational Shop Course: Football 3, 4. Bill is one of those friendly fellows whom everyone likes. His favorite subject is shop, in which he's very smart. Since her ambition is to be a telephone oper- ator, we think she should join the WAFS and get herself assigned to the switchboard at some Air Force base. CLYDE H. Lug is a. born athlete, and .he's always good natured, especially on the basketball court. Lug has earned his letter in basketball, base- ball, and football. WILLIAM ROBERT FRASER Stud Vocational Shop Course: Baseball, Manager 33 Football, Manager 3, 49 S Club 3, 4. Here is the boy who keeps the machine shop a lively place all day long. Bill has been- manager of the fcotball team for two years and managed baseball last spring. He has acquired a sudden interest in sophomore girls lately-anyone know why? He plans to go to Higgins in the fall. With her swell personality, Josie is thc envy of everyone. She can always put life into the dullest party. Her weakness is hunting, and she is famous for getting her Doe-without a gun, too! This widely traveled young lady tried out several high schools and finally settled for Stearns. She is a wonderful basketball player, and you should see all the strikes she makes in bowling. Although she hasn't let us in on .her love life, we're sure there must be a someone somewhere. PAUL STANLEY JORDAN Skinny Social Science Course: Basketball, Intramural 1, 2, 3, 4, J. V. 2, Varsity 4, Biology Club 2, Easter Pageant 3, Science Club 3, 4, Football 4, Senior Play 4. Paul is the only one in the cast who knew his part for the senior play-French, too! He's always talking in English, but nobody knows what he's saying. This year he's developed quite an interest in the freshman class, the interest is big, but she's small. Next year? Higgins.
