This has been a memorable year for Steamboat Springs High School. A record number of students have enrolled in the school, and many classes have been filled to the maximum. Many of the activities as well as the classes have been something to be remembered. When in years to come you refer to the contents of this annual, you will smile, for only then will its true worth be appreciated. Its pages will bring back memories of old friends, classmates, and teachers; of parties and dances held in SSHS, of lessons learned, and most of all, we hope, of ideals formed and of ideas cultivated. The students and faculty of the school have par- ticipated in making certain events and activities im- portant. It has been a challenge for the editor, staff, and sponsor of the annual to faithfully record these events and activities in this yearbook. Thank you for a job well done. Best wishes to the class of 1968. Your superintendent, MR sauer George P. Sauer MISS PLACE It is indeed gratifying to work with stu- dents who in time of crisis are able to meet daily demands with calm and assur- ance and who are able to accept responsi- bility and go forward using each stumbling block as a stepping stone Thank you, Sailors, for a successful year. 3 Clara Mae Place
