Principal CLARENCE GARDNER SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE In writing a message to the class of 1964 two ideas come to mind. The first of these has to do with your future vocation or occupation. Of course the choice of a pro- fession or occupation is important. But more important still is this advice. Get all of the preparation you can now. Many of the occupations which you will encounter in your lifetime do not exist at this time. This makes it most important for you to get as much general education as you can now. The second of these has to do with your own personal conduct. In spite of the rapid changes in science, space flight, mathematics, automation, and many other things, two very old statements are still the best guides to conduct. They are the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule. May each of you be blessed with many successes and much happiness.
