THE FRESHMAN CLASS On September 4th, last year's eighth grade added eight new mem- bers to become this year's Freshman Class. Eight of these Freshmen were members of the band,onehav1ng given a trombone solo at the district contest this year. Five of the boys wereon the Junior high basketball team this year and we have high hopes that those five will help to build a good boys' team next year. Three of the girls played on the girls' first team, Ruth Hundertmark having been one of our outstanding guards. As far as baseball goes, there are prospects for the team in the next several years. We compliment these Freshmen on 8OI10b1y enduring the trials which they have had to encounter this year and hope that as they scale the heights to become more dignified as the next three years pass, that they will be a credit to our school.
