X RK- XM! , JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY United we stood, the fifty of us, As Juniors we were known. Meetings were called and business discussed, And to the school our merit was shown. As support to our team we rallied to help Our cause, and their cause, too, We sold hot dogs, buns, and cokes To make our treasury come through. Old Saint Nick arrived in style In December at Stayton High, The Juniors had a welcome out And a fir tree standing high. In March we made plans and rehearsed to present 'Love ls Too Much Troublen ---- we know! The audience laughed at the clever lines, And agreed we gave quite a show. For activity our thoughts were many, And so far the school we planned Many kinds of entertainment, An ice-skating party was at hand. In the spring of the year as honor came due To the Seniors about to depart, A banquet we gave, which was lovely to see, They were given our praise-and support.
