The team traveled to district and placed tenth which was not good enough for state. However, Bob Cargnoni qualified for sectional. The team will lose senior Bob Cargnoni next year but still have five underclassmen from this year's team that hopefully will be out next year plus a few new ones. 1. Jeff Ziglar 2. Mike Keuthe 3. Bob Cargnoni 4 Ricky Randle 5. Gary Schardan 6. Ted Fortado 7. Coach Baxter Front Row: John Bond, Rick Haase, Mark Vesper, Back Row: Coach Kuba, Bill Katich. Troy Graves, Kevin Banovic, Mark Marcuzzo, Jim Brown The golf team had an excellent year. Their regular season record was 1 fi- ll. They traveled to district and tied for first place. They then placed fourth in sectional which wasn't quite good enough to qualify for state play. How- ever, Mark Marcuzzo did advance to state and finished second overall. Here Jim Brown is shown holding the first place team trophy for the Car- linville Invitational and Mark Marcuzzo holding the first place team plaque from the State District Class A Tournament. The varsity ended their season with a record of 25-2. The Lady Bulldogs won five trophies and advanced to the Supper sectional Tournament. From this tournament the team qualified as one of the top sixteen teams in the state of Illinois. The team took trophies from the Conference, the County, the Lin- colnwood Tournaments, the Dis- trict, and the Sectional Tourna- ments.
