We have tried to give you full-coverage of all events. Staunton, as a city, is observing its centennial. Some of our faculty and students have joined the Brothers of the Brush. Our books were published by the Tay- lor Publishing Company, the photography was by Rembrandt Studios of St. Louis. We appreciate the co-operation of Mr. Bohm and his staff. The books were financed by subscrip- tions, candy sales, and by gifts from the Student Council and the senior class. Pleasant memories of the school year 1958 - 1959. THE STAFF Karin Goehe, Judy Eller, and Carmen Haase . President Mike mailing the copy. Mr. Diet, Superintendent s4ct4Ht U4t'iatta t Congratulations to the seniors. In compliance with the recommendation of many educators, Staunton High School has kept abreast with the demand for increased guidance. Plans are underway to test eighth graders in an attempt to challenge the better student and to help the weaker student. In addition to tests, the seniors are given a work ex- perience program which allows them to work in the field before actually choosing a profession. The teams of 1927, 1928, and 1951 were co-Champs, but the 1958 team is the first to win the title. Coach Brenzel and Coach Schuetze, as well as the teams, deserve much credit for such a fine job this season. Although the season began with only two veteran players, the coaches were able to develop a championship team. CONGRATULATIONS BOYS!
