SPEECH CONTEST Staunton, in competition with twelve other high schools, was represented at the district speech contest in five events. The one act play, “Fog on the Valley”, and Don Fischer, radio speaker, were eligible for the sectional contest. The other three contestants performed in a manner of which we can be proud. SENIOR PLAY The senior play, The Little Dog Laughed , will be presented April 25. The play is dif- ferent from the usual productions in that the audience will be able to see action of the living room, on the front porch and on the sidewalk in front of the house. Much of the success of the play will be in the hands of the stage manager, Lenny Rennei, the Chairman of the scenery crew, Dean Brauer, and Mr. Schnaare. Every senior is placed on some crew and their united efforts makes the play a success.
