HONORS HAZEL TAYLOR-North and South Piedmont conference champ in 100 and 220 yard dashes and mile relay, second in WNCHSAA in 100 and 220 dashes and mile relay, first in 100 and 220 dashes in 1957 'WNCHSAA MIKE WILKINSON-NOffh and South Piedmont conference champ in 180 low hurdles, third in WNCHSAA in 180 low hurdles. DAVID THARPE-1955 and 1957 Champ in WNCHSAA in high jump. The 1956 S. H. S. Track team won the North and South Piedmont conference and were undefeated in the six scheduled meets. The team came in second in the WNCHSAA meet at Davidson, N. C. Much credit is due to Coach Hipps and Coach Archibald for their fine work. The 1957 S.H.S.
