.9 1 5 ,-1 , .ii wharf! , 1 This dance made everybody rythmical, so the T. E. T.'s entertained with an informal dance at Horace McDougald's home in Clito on janu- ary 17. Our chaperon made the evening more enjoyable by offering games, which was a change from our usual Friday night routine. During the month of February Mrs. Hitt entertained the members of the T. E. T. Club with a steak supper at her home on South Main Street. George Hitt acted as host. When the boys finished their feast they went for their dates, and when they returned light refreshments were served and dancing was enjoyed throughout the evening. I I ' Av. K al- W A .WRWQ . VW 1 .' , ,l Valentine soon came along and, it happening on Friday night, we couldn't miss such a wonderful chance for a dance. The result was a joint dance of the two clubs. The Womans Club room was beautifully decorated in the Valentine colors and moss. Again the Professors furnished our music and a large crowd at- tended. March 13, although this might be an unlucky date for some people, proved to be a successful one to us when we all packed up and went on a picnic to Akins Pond, where we enjoyed the best eats of all, which were furnished by the T. E. T. Club. After leaving the picnic ground the party was invited to Horace McDougald's home at Clito where the crowd enjoyed dancing. Our former picnic being so enjoyable to all, everybody was raving for another, so the following Friday night Frances Deal entertained a number of young folks in honor of the J. T. J.'s with a get-together at the Cherokee Cabin, where a wiener roast was enjoyed. Dancing was the feature entertainment. I'm sure there'll be many other social gatherings before school is out that we will be unable to record. However we know at the present that the T. E. T. Club is planning a house party as early as possible after school is out. While most of the social season has centered around club activities, there are other functions in prospect which will include practically the whole student body. Chief of these will be the annual class proms and banquets. These are being anticipated with keen pleasure by everybody. CECIL WATERS FRANK OLLIEE 'ee ' MEMBERS HORACE MCDOUGALD . .
