Zoe long ago acquired the soubriquet of Tadpole. This is how it happened: for several months last fall, she could daily be seen peering into the depths of some silent pool, patiently Waiting, waiting. Waiting for her loved one? Look- ing for Lotus blossoms? Alas ! no-only hunting for tadpoles. .ai i ma i HAZEL HOLT. We often Wonder Why this millionheiress should have strayed into the cloistered precincts of our scnool. Far better for her to be doing dances pink teas and champagne suppers than to be whiling her time away here, wherg she seems sadly out of place.
