ROA DR UNNER ROOTERS This year the Roadrunner Rooters have been a very active club. At 'the beginning of the first semester they sold memberships to the Coyote Pack in support of the basketball team. Then, during Soccer season, they ran the concession stand by the Soccer field. Other money making projects were bake and fruit sales. 'Leftovers' were donated to Rest Haven Nursing Home. At the very beginning of the year, the club served the ban- quet held in the student union during the MAJC-SGA Convention being held at SFCC. One major project the club undertook was selling booster buttons in support of the school and basketball team. The inscription on the buttons was The Big Blue Machine is on the Move. The Rooters were in charge of serving refreshments for the Homecoming dance and decorating for the dance. During the Homecoming game, they gave long stem roses to the parents of the basketball players on Parents Night. The Rooters sponsored Larry Emory and Vaughn Hart Night and they gave individual plaques to both, expressing gratitude for their support of the Roadrunners. The Rooters are responsible for the signs in the Bird Cage during home games and for the run-through that the basketball team used before each home game. In addition to all this, the Rooters are responsible for helping with the decorations for the All-Sports Banquet.
