SFCC Soccer Coach Greg Bell discusses the rules with Mr Archie Shireman, referee, as Bob Phillips, an SFCC player looks on. Although it is a young sport in America, soccer is fast becoming one of the most popular sports at SFCC. The fluctuation of players, as at most two-year schools, is one of the biggest hurdles for a coach to clear, State Fair is no exception to this problem. With only two returning lettermen this year, the Floadrunners had a great deal of difficulty polishing their offenseg however, the record was not indicative of the work and effort exerted by the team. Most of this year's team will be returning, so next season should provide a bright spot in SFCC's brief history. If enthusiasm and desire to win illustrate potential champions, then Roadrunner fans should look forward to a tremendous soccer program.
