lniaiifasvlef DE CA Club Barnyard Dance The DBCA Club's Barnyard Dance was one of social highlights of the year. After a lengthy period of in-depth plan- ning, club members finally began building an exceptionally good atmosphere on the morning of December l6. By mid-after- noon the union and the main hall were jammed with bales of straw-hay. When the students came to the dance they found a slide blocking the entrance to the door. As if that wasn't enough a tunnel of bales was arranged, and those attending were urged to crawl through it for initiation purposes. The mood was continued in the union with bales everywhere. In country dress a very fine number of farmers attended. Although rock music prevailed, the hoedown was most often requested. Refreshments were served, adding another touch that made this year's Barnyard Dance a happy occasion. DECA officers Don Simon and Gail Crnic Cabovel crown queen Caroline.
