TEXAS May 30, 1959 To The Students of Lutcher Stark Senior High School and Helen Carr Junior High School Just past the rnid-point of the twentieth century we find ourselves in a new age of exploration. It is commonplace to talk about launch- ing new planets and to consider the very practical possibility of detaching ourselves frorn the eartnland. This is a good time to reflect upon this simple, hornernade thought. Wherever rnan's creative spirit guides him, he must be sure to take along these bits of earth with him: integrity, reverence, and respect for honest work well done.
