After receiving his Bachelor of Science in May 1986, he entered Officers Candidate school and was commissioned in November 1986. After completing Division Officer School. LT Morris was assigned to the USS Lasalle IAGF-31 which was fonvard deployed to Bahrain for one year. He served as the lst Division officer and Administration officer. His second tour was aboard USS Ticonderoga where he served as the Electrical Officer and he first qualified as Engineering Officer of the Watch. Accepting another one year tour on Belknap CG-26 LT afv Liana Morris served as the Auxiliaiy and Electrical Officer.
