Highlighting our junior year are the San Francisco Halloween theme that won us top honors, the acquisition of our greatly cherished class rings, the privilege of early release from school at Christmas time in order to work for that much-needed extra pocket money, the dance contest, together with a maze of skits, rallies, and other projects that filled busy days. Class Mass, Days of Recollection, and Lent slowed up our tempo but not our spirit. Echoes of Chonita with its spirited rhythms of gypsy tambourines haunt us still, and vivid in our memories too are the catchy melodies to which we danced at Autumn Leaves, Talk of the Town, and, best of all, at our Junior Prom. Yes, these three years at Star have been wonderful onesg and now, with heads held high, we step forward to assume our new role, Seniors, Class of 'S 5. FIRST ROW, left to right: J. Loumos, M. Lyons.
