Last Will And Cestament We the Semiors ofStar High School, Class of 1958, in the state of North Carolina, County of Montgomery, and Town of.Star, being of sound mind, we hope, and. of.sound body, we believe, realizing that our days at Star High School are over do hereby declare this to be our Last Will.and Testament, revoking all other wills heretofore made by us. oe UN Raneres wat To our school, we leave’our trust and assurance that it will use its influence to gradu- ates, not just students, but citizens. ARTICLE II To Mr. Fields,wewishto express our appreciation for his kindness and patience during our stay at Star High. To Mrs.Shamburger, our class sponsor, we should like to give a special ''Thank-you for her never-failing guidance during our high school days. To our other teachers, we leave our deepest respect and our sincere wish that the other classes to follow will give them more ease and peace of mind. To our coach, Mr. Atkinson, we leave our deepest gratitude for his continued interest and backing in athletics. To our parents and friends, we leave our sincere appreciation for their faithfulness » shown us during our school life. ARTICLE III To the rising Juniors, we leave our class colors, our yell, and that fine spirit we've had, with the hope that it will not be too long before you, too, will be Seniors, To the rising Seniors, we the Class of 1958, leave the rare gift called'''Senior pri- “vileges'', with the understanding that they are not to be handled carelessly, tossed about, or abused. ARTICLE 1V June Carol Nall leaves her silly giggles and screams to Linda Williams and Frances Dorsett. To Tim Kern goes Billy Wright's formula for making 'moonshine ’. Elmo Allen wishes to leave his chief marshal ribbon to Barbara Asbill. To James Maness and Elmer Needham goes Jerry Stuart's ability to worry the teach- ers to their graves. Riley Fields and Ruby Shirlen are the lucky receivers of Evelyn Reynolds and Denzil Jordan's title as most athletic. Jenny Lee Russell leaves her wads of chewing gum to Carlene Mabe and Claudine Davis. To Wanda Cooper and Jerry Don Miller go Charles King's quiet ways. » Martha Allen leaves her ability as a cheerleader to Sue Caudill, hoping she will keep up the good work. Jean McBride and Jimmy McLeod's title of cutest goes to Faye Nichols and Vance Spivey. Wayne Brown and L. R. Odom leave their wit and ability to tell jokes to Don King. To Johnny Allen goes Oscar Hancock's ability to bluff. Brenda Brooks vacates her position as class baby, leaving it for Roby Dunn to fill. Larry Parsons leaves his flirty ways for Jane Allen and Sue Davis to carry on, if they think they can. eel'O Larry Jordan goes Virginia Davis' position as Mrs. Shamburger's private secre- tary. Glenn Deaton's friendly ways go to Ralph Beane and Wilma Odom. Wayne McBride leaves.everything he owns to Ann Holt McBride. Richard McBride and Bobby Needham leave their ability to get along with the girls to Phil Hancock.
