Carolyn Greene is dental assistant to Lester Hess who has become the best known dentist in Connect- icut, Betty Jean Owen is Superintendent of Nurses at the Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, Jack Auman is driving a stock car, Reese Early is the best photographer in the state, Annie Frances Rayle has succeeded in becoming a Latin teacher at Ether Academy, Betty Cagle is private secretary to the President of the United States, Mildred Allen now owns and operates a well known beauty shop in North Carolina. Phil Welch is now a lawyer in Asheboro, J. T. Davis is serving in the United Stated Navy. He is stationed in Hawaii. Star is fortunate in having Kenneth Hinson as her first radio announcer, Annie Grace Allen is a ballet dancer, Joan Caudill is a nurse in a large hospital in Michigan, Charles Lassiter is now pastor of New Hope Baptist Church. A new hosiery mill has recently been built in Steeds, There we find Ethel Freeman in charge of the office, James Hooker has fulfilled his greatest ambition and is now a member of the United States Marines, C. W. Graves owns a large tucking company. Bleece Jordan is owner of a large service station at Jugtown. Janice Kern is superintendent of an orphanage in Lexington. Juanita Cochran and Betty Kern own a beauty shop next door to Janie Davis's clothing store. Hansard Lewis is now seen on the golf courses and Ben Hogan is faced with keen competition, Carl Hanlon, after studying at State College, has followed Mr. C. A.
