Last Will Gnd Testament We, the graduating class of 1951 of Star High School, being of sound mind and good judgment, possessing an ‘‘overcrammed brain’’, and being about to depart from this phase of our education, do make and publish this, our last will and testament. We praise ourselves openly for the success we are, asa class and individually. We hereby bequeath the same as follows: To Mr. Fields, Mrs. Shamburger, and the remaining high school faculty, our deepest appreciation for the wonderful leadership you’ve given us, and for the interest you’ve had in our work. To our parents goes, also, our apprecia- tion for encouraging us to meet the final requirements for that ‘‘sheepskin’’. To Fred Morgan goes Ernest’s bus route. Marie and Martha leave their place at the icecream box to Clara and Ottie. Jr. Williams gives that innocent expression he uses so much to Walton Russell. To Doris King and Jimmy Deaton go Phyllis’s and Jean’s jobs as librarians, third and fourth periods, respectively. Edward leaves his job as chewing gum supplier for some of the girls to J. C. Allen and Richard Freeman. It’ll keep you both busy, boys. To Myrtle Brewer goes Polly’s golden locks. Preacher leaves his long shots in basketball for George to manage. Albert and Bobby bequeath their ability to pass all English tests to Billy Lamonds. Ruth leaves her office job to Kathleen. Maude and Grace leave their basketball ability to Viola. Edna and Joe leave their musical talent to James Howard. Jerry and Donald pass on their secret method of being able to be late to school and get by with it to Walter Deaton and Richard Lowder. To Joe Reynolds and Billy Needham goes Sue and Gene’s dependability. Lefty leaves his position as cutest boy to Poe. Doyle leaves his safe driving record to Cecil. Nancy, Remell, and Frances leave their quiet ways to Mary Alice. Susie leaves her place as teacher’s pet to Peggy Smith. Betty Jean leaves her knowledge of books to Doris Dixon. Our gifts have all been given and we must be on our way! Take good care of them, Juniors!
