CLASS PROPHECY lt was a clear, beautiful night ln June, and the moon was shining brightly as we were sitting in the rose garden thinking ol' our school days and wondering where our classmates were. In the moon mist we could see a. cozy little night olub in New York by the name of Blue Diamond owned and operated by Mr, and Mrs. Patrick Anderson. Mrs. Anderson was fonmerly Virginia Murphy. As our eyes were passing over the crowd we saw .loan Bauman and it seemed that she had heroine a Registered Nurse and was going to marly a Doctor, June 15. Uni eyes were then stopped by the exquisite singer in the night club, and who should it he but our former classmate Joyce Royer. Also while we were here we met Sherlock Holmes II who to our surprise was none other than our Senior President, Nell Warner. It 'seemed he was searching for the piieeless Hope Dialmond which belonged to Mrs. Lyle Burgess, the former Nancy Hufzll Then we ventured to the airport and who should ge-L Off of the plane whioh we were to take but George Llmlng the famous radio news commentator. And when the pilot got ont, much to our amazement it was Joe Newman, and he informed us -that he was the owner of the airport. Much to our joy he said he would fly us to Georgia. Two days later we arrived in Atlanta, Georgia, Nvhen we went to the Infor- mation Desk, who should we meet but the heavyweight boxing champion, .lim Car- penter, and his wife the for mer Wanda Bonnell. Alter dinner we attended a tioncert and much to our surprise the orchestra leader w as the Nationally known Uarl Knehel, ami the pianist was his fiancee Virginia Hrowu. The next day we attended a oourt session and who should we see but the faiinons lawyer .lack Heintz, and the well known Judge, Kermit Parcel. Then a great explosion and we were ln Tennessee at the office of Mr. Ellison, and it seemed that Mis. Ellison, the former Lottie McClain, was his laboratory as- sistant as well as his Private Sei-relaryf' The next sight which niet our eyes was n collision of a semi-tru:-k and a var. Xvlio should get out ol' the truvk but Robert Ilerkshire, who as a sailor, has a girl in every port. It seemed that St. Louis was on his mind at the time of the aocitleiil. 'l'l1eo we went to the Iins Sation to go to Kentucky. Vllho should be on the bus but our rlassniaite, Evelyn VVhite, who is operating a restaurant in Louisville, and planning to marry a Doctor soon. Evelyn was able to give us information about two llltvlf? ol' our classmates. t'harlotte Shidler was working in her restaurant as Hook- keeper, and t'harlotte's chum, Donna l1ePoy. was a waitress, and both ol them were engaged to be married in the near future. 'l'hen our eyes turn to a beautiful Dairy Faoin and who should the owner he hut Holi Righter and who should be working at his farm butt Chester Pierr-e. From here we saw into the oftir-e of Wayman Groom, who followed his lit'e's ambition to become a Doctor, and was then setting a very pretty Blondes arm. Then as we neared our journey's end we deuided to stop at a farm home and huy a 1-hicken for Sunday dinner. Much to our surprise who should answer our knock hut Mis. t'huck Ilalka. the former Ulive Hauser. Olive told ns, much to our joy that Annabelle Fox had completed recovered ami hiad a beautiful home established in lndiana.polis, Then our dreann ended and we recognized ourselves, Mrs. George DePoy, the former Ruth Hood and Mr-s. Frank Lamb, the former Violet Clark, at C0ll9y Island with our families on a summer vacation. Ruth Hood ami Violet Clark
