CLASS POEM OUR STEADFAST HOPE had throughout the years, VVas to have courage enough in store, To help us and When success opens wide her door. We've struggled We've stumbled along life's trodden way, We've tried and failed, then tried again, VVe've gained knowledge with each passing day. We've made decisions, though we needed help, through twelve decisive years, guide us and show us the way, We've dreamed, and made some dreams come true, We've read, and studied. and improved ourselves, We've strived for something useful to do. VVe've worked hard, and gained happiness, VVe've rested, and made many a friend. We've slowly but surely climbed the ladder, Leading to a happy and worthwhile end. We know now, that the day will come, XVhen we'll be put to a definite test, And we'll pass it, and win our most cherished dream, And our steadfast hope, SUCCESS.
