Many are the roadways to choose from, Of every description and type But we may take one, just one And that we will travel for life, One road leads to the city Uith its buildings so great and so high, Where we know we will always be busy As the years of the future go hy. To the country another road leads us With its rivers and brooks that flow And old Mother Nature does greet us And all ef her treasures does show. Now one road will lead us to sadness Where all our days will he marred with grief, There none will ever know gladness And life's happiness will he so brief. Another road lead on to joy, This road we should tread from the startg We will not be afraid of the toil And a song will he in each heart. Homeward one road is leading Back to the cradle of life, Where those we love wc'll be pleasing fl By caring for them through all strife. 'Tis true there will he many dark ways On the Load that we wander forth But wc'll think only of bright days And brighten the path with our torch. No matter which roadway we travel, Ne matter what way we may go We will fight 'til we win the great battle And at last we will reach our goal. -------Darrell Rightcr
