DRAMATICS SENIOR PLAY Don't Look How , a three act comedy was presented by the senior class on April 10 1940 in the gymnasium. Miss Geraldine Thompson was director The cast was as follows- John Sherman Father Ethel Sherman Mother Bernice Sherman Daughter Ray Sherman Son Lois Sherman Daughter Herbert Hayes Cousin Grandpa Sherman Grandpa Lynne Drydenll Girl friend Vincent Berger Boy friend Evangeline Vangie Ross Hired girl Burl Bonnell Pauline Bonnell Margaret Rafferty Thomas Densborn Alice Bonnell Ivan Haselby Harold Murphy Vilma Good Robert Korner Mabel Vanscoyk Arilla Temple Neighbor Hilda Mitchell For financial reasons the Shermans wish to make a desirable impression on rich 'Cousin Herbert When he arrives unexpectedly in the form of a tramp, they treat h1m with disrespectfullness and contempt little supposing that he is their expected guest The infusion of a candid camera artist makes the turmoil complete, and the hilarity exceeds all bounds Mary Margaret McClure Grandpa and his ailments, Arilla, the talkative spinster neighbor, Vincent, the soda squirt Lois, the vivacious younger daughter, and Iangie, the hired girl, add magor shares to the strong comedy that runs throughout the play The congested plot is brought to a speedy solution in the third act, and the audience is convinced that the best policy is nDon't Look Now JUNIOR PLAY The gunlor play, naunt Tillie Goes to Townn, directed by Miss Gerald ine Thompson, was presented November l 1939, before an appreciative house The cast was as follows Aunt Tillie Trask Mervin Ronald Lizzie Pamela Luther Tucker Howland Parsons Marsh Lacrimer Ellen Neiland Charlie One Lung Mrs Tillie Tucker Dr Hattie Bing Eccentric maid Pamela's fiance Stranger Young Novelist Till1e's niece Ronald's employer Stranger Chinese cook Merv1n's aunt Chiropractor Josephine Berkshire Richard Lee Smith Claud Hair Mary Ann White Margorie Parlsh Bill Vernon Mildred Lem on Darrell Righter Maxine Leisure Sarah Jane Hank Aunt Tillie Trask is occupying her country home near a smart summer resort She is greatly upset because her niece, Pamela Marsh, has announc ed her impending marriage to Marvin Tucker She is suddenly called to town and while she 15 packing her suitcase, Mervin Tucker arrives He deposits his suitcase in Aunt T1llie's livingroom and she mistakes it for her own Mervin is attired in Aunt Tl1l16'S clothes and Aunt Tillie is at her w1t's end trying to figure things out The fun 13 at its height when Dr Hattie Bing, a strong and efficient ohiropractor, arrives and insists on giving the hopeless Aunt Tillie a thorough examination 20 ll I1 D I U' I . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5 . . . . . . . .
