Alice Bonnell, do will and bequeath my carefree walk to Thelma Hoo- ver, and m affection for the Grass Creek boys to Maxine Leasure. I, my love Burl Bonnell, do will and bequeath my temper to Gertrude Hood, and for a certain sophomore girl to Arden Wank. I, Pauline Bonnell, do will and bequeath my peculiar laugh to Juanita Clark and my typing grades to Burton McClellan. I, Leroy Dearmond, do will and bequeath my soft voice to Sarah Jane Wank, and my dark beard to William Malia. I, Thomas Densborn, do will and bequeath my height to James Abbott, and ny bass voice to Richard Lee Smith. I, Don Fahler, do will and bequeath my ability to play the Beer Barrel Polka to Orval Burgess, and my talkative nature to Walter Miller. I, Herbert Galbreath, do will and bequeath my beautiful hair to Lois Russell and my old green suit to Bob Haselby. I, Wilm Good, do will and bequeath my charming personality to Earnest Kelley, and my ability to keep my boyfriends fooled to Georgia Linedecker. I, Ivan Haselby, do will and bequeath my readiness to recite in econ- omics class to Dick Bonnell, my ability to play basketball to Arden Wank. I, Harold Knebel, do will and bequeath my friendliness to Mary Ann White, and my good looks to Stanley Lemmon. I, Robert Korner, do will and bequeath my good conduct in economics class to Jane Hoesel, and my physics book to the furnace. I, Mae McClain, do will and bequeath my red hair to Mildred Lem on, and my ability to grade papers for the English teacher to Willard Hauser. I, Hilda Mitchell, do will and bequeath my figure to Loretta Markley, and my ability to get good grades to anyone with sufficient intelligence. I, Mabel Moon, do will and bequeath my high heeled shoes to humbelle Staffeldt, and m ability to change my hair dress to Maxine Batty. I, Harold Murphy, do will and bequeath the sousaphone to Lois Ann Bis- hop, and m position on the softball team to Eugene Graves. I, Richard Raub, do will and bequeath my oversized feet to Claud Hair, and m shyness around the girls to Bill Vernon. I, Margaret Rafferty, do will and bequeath my ability class to Maxine Gellinger, and m ability for getting dates I, Mary Helen Smith, do will and bequeath my ability to Pearl Allen, and my ambitious feelings to Junior Grant. ' if CLASS I-IISTGRY Twelve years, minus four and one-half months ago, twenty-three bashful boys and girls entered this school. They were LaVerl Alley, Paul Bauman, Harold Buntin, Alice Bonnell, Ruth Erispen, Leroy DeArmond, Thomas Dens- born, Mary Jane Depoy, Alfred Gellinger, Don Hinshaw, Harrietta Hastings, Dorothy Johnson, Calvin Jones, Paul Kessler, Bob Korner, Harold Knebel, La Verne Liming, Harold Marquis, Margaret Rafferty, Richard Raub, Bob Skillen, Harry Fry, Blanche Starck, and Eugene Brugh, directed by Mrs. Della Warner. we entered the next year of training leaving behind Blanche Starck, and Harry Fry. Mary Jones, Jeannetta Nice, Betty Darland, and Walter Haus- er joined our ranks. Here we were greeted by Grace Densborn and Dorothy Surber as our commanders. We left Freddie Eartle, LaVerne Liming and Har- old Foust, who spent another year there. At the beginning of our third year of school training we found several new students waiting to join our ranks. They were T. J. Black, Maria Dean, Stella Clements, Esther Jump, Wilbur Scott, Mary Helen Smith, Eva Kline and Neil Herrick. Again some were left behind. They were: Alfred Gellinger, Calvin Jones, and Eva Kline. At the beginning of our fourth year we found that we were unfit for battleg our ranks had dropped to twenty-one. But during the year we gained Priscilla Shipley and Mary McQuiere. When we entered the fifth grade, Mrs. Maude Buck greeted us. Billy Figley, Harry Thomas, and Glenn Purkey joined us there. Still with Mrs. Buck, we met several new students in the sixth grade. They were Mae McClain, Sylvia Hedger, and Richard Raub. we left behind, Paul Bauman and Harry Thomas. Our great move was yet to be taken. We climbed the steps to where we met Mr. Surber, Mr. Byfield, Mr. Huffman, Mr. Jeffery, Miss Esther Geier, Miss Harrison, and Miss Lillian Geier. we gained Bonita Davis to our class roll. On our return to school the next year we found that we had lost Bonita Davis, Agnes Fox, Don Hinshaw, Dorothy, Harry, and Zela Thomas, Seth White, and Pricilla Shipley. We started in as freshmen with several students from both Fairview and Thornhope schools. We began with Hazel Adams, Paul Bauman, Alice Bonnell, Burl Bonnell, Gerald Bonnell, Pauline Bonnell, Leroy DeArmond, Tom Dens- born, Don Fahler, William Flegal, Herbert Galbreath, Wilma Good, William Green, Junior Gunter, Sylvia Hedger, Ivan Haselby, Harold Knebel, Bob Kor- ner, Mae McClain, Hilda Mitchell, Mabel Moon, Harold Murphy, Margaret Rafferty, Dick Raub, Harold Rude, Mary Helen Smith, Delores Stites, Earl Sutton, and Madeline Malia. During the year we lost Hazil Adams, William Flegal, Junior Gunter, Sylvia Hedger, Delores Stites, and Earl Sutton. In our Freshman year the faculty was composed of D. P. Surber, Mrs. Myrtle Valentine, Ewing Hazlett, Miss Lillian Geier, Miss Lois Eldridge, Lloyd Carpenter, and Charles L. Byfield. In the sophomore year we lost Gerald Bonnell, Harrietta Hastings, Har- old Rude, and Paul Bauman, however we gained Rosetta Malia. It was during this year that we first came into the school spotlite. This was achieved when five boys from our class won the class basketball tournament. The faculty was changed this year with the coming of Miss Vera Peigh in place of Mrs. Valentine, and also the arrival of Donovan Jacoby to act as coach. In the junior year we lost Madeline and Rosetta Malia. In November of this year, we presented the three act comedy, nMy Wife's Familyn, which met with the approval of the huge audience that filled the auditorium. This year the faculty was again revised when Miss Mary Boegaholtz replaced Miss Lillian Geier, Gale Metzger replaced Miss Eldridge, and Miss Jean Imel was added to the present faculty. Our senior year.has been our most enjoyable year of all. Our graduat- ing class is as follows: Alice Bonnell, Burl Bonnell, Pauline Bonnell, Leroy Dearmond, Thomas Densborn, Don Fahler, Wilma Good, Herbert Galbreath, Ivan Haselby, Harold Knebel, Bob Korner, Mae McClain, Hilda Mitchell, Mabel Moon, Harold Murphy, Dick Raub, Margaret Rafferty, Mary Helen Smith, and Mabel Vanscoyk. In April of this year our class presented the play, 'Don't Look Now'. The faculty was changed this year when N. Ray Reed replaced Donovan Jacoby, and Mrs. Marjorie Boomershine replaced Miss Boegaholtz. 8 'I
