Class Histo ry Of the f1fteen members of the class of 1951 only two boys have gone through all twelve years of school ln Stanton They are Norman Peterson and Max Kxrkeberg Dan1el Anderson attended Stanton school except when he moved to Oregon for two years Myrna Falk came to Stanton mn the second grade and Charles Eklof Lloyd Lewls and Norman Sch1eld have attended Stanton school s1nce the fourth grade Charleen Hoaglund John Bryson Eugene Larson and Clayton Peterson entered Stanton scnool 1n the exghth grade ln addltlon to those already mentloned our entry xnto hmgh school 1n 1947 brought John Carlson Darrell Combs John Hogberg John Madden JoAnne Mudd Wanda Nlckolas, and Donna Vanderholm 1nto our class Our class was then elghteen strong However dur1ng the year John Bryson and Darrell Combs moved away from Stanton and Wanda Nxckolas left us The class offxcers 1n our Freshman year were Presldent John Carlson Vlce Pres1dent Donna Vanderholm Secretary Treasurer Max Klrkeberg Sponsor A M K1rkeberg Eklof ln the fall of 1948 Merlm Magneson Fern Ross and Robert Ross came 1nto our class but dur1ng the year John Madden JoAnne Mudd and Robert Ross left us leav1ng a Sophomore class of f1fteen The class off1cers elected for our Sophomore year were Presldent Myrna Falk V1ce Presxdent Norman Schreld Secretary Treasurer Charles Eklof Sponsor Ray Bynum Charleen Hoaglund and Eugene Larson were our candldates for the K1ng and Queen Fxfteen Jun1ors returned to Stanton l-hgh 1n 1949 and dur1ng the year we neither lost OI' gained any l'T16IT1bCl'S The Junlgr C1355 Qfflcel-5 were Presldent Norman Schxeld V1ce Presxdent Norman Peterson Secretary Treasurer Donna Vanderholm Sponsor Mrs Donald Osslan John Carlson and Donna Vanderholm were our Kmg and Queen cand1dates 8 Our attendants for the King and Queen were Donna Vanderholm and Charles
