Glass Heston, On a bright day in l9L6, we, as a class of twenty three Fr h men, began our learning 1n Stanton Hnph Our roll consisted Donna Anderson, Dwight Anderson, Kathryn Anderson, Jean Bergren, LaDonna Carlson, Lois Carlson, Ralph Cave, Darlene Freeman, Jerry Greenfield, John Kuhn, Donald Lantz, Jean Lantz, Merlin Magneson Marilyn McFarland, Donald Nicholas, Donald Peterson, LaDonna Peterson, Leona Peterson, Dorothy Rains, Leonard Smith, LaVern Rossander, Lee Strickland, and Genevieve Roberts we were the largest class in the high school we were active in all activities basketball, baseball foot ball, band, girls glee, mixed chorus, boys glee, declam and F F A found that Darlene Freeman had joined the ranks of the married and that Genevieve Roberts transferred to another school Robert anderholm joined our class At the semester, Jerry Greenfield was ransferred to another high school Merlin Magneson, because of a serious accident, missed a year As we started our Junior year, all pupils except Marilyn McFarland, who was marrued, were present and accounted for he second semester, Russell Dahlstrom Joined us, and Dorothy Rains left us to become a Mrs During the fall of l9h8, the boys of the class particlpated 1n a judging contest at Coin Stanton rated second high in this judg ing event The class as a whole presented a successful Junior Class Play As ae journeyed back to school for our Sen1or year, we found that Leonard Smith had moved to another town This left only sigh teen to graduate Our class has been represented well in high school, and we hope that as much good, if not more, will come from the classes yet ln school CLASS OFFICERS PPB81d8Ht Dwight Anderson Vice President Donald Lantz Secretary Treasurer LaDonna Peterson Sponsor Miss Dorothy Tavlor MOTTO HDeeds, not wordsn FLOWER COLORS Red Carnation Crimson Q Silver r 6 T '. . ofgu 9 -- I , - As Mr. Lindberg checked the roll for our Sophomore year, he ' .
