LEST YE FURCET All the worldls a stage and all the men and women merely players.' This is a little stage in comparison to some stages, but for four years, more or less, we have played our parts on it. Sometimes we have forgotten our parts, but we have had our ideals and havetried to givethe best of our talents to our school world. Now the curtain is going down on this part of our lives, and we want to leave something for the coming class to remember us by. So we leave the following will and testament. LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the members of the graduating class of 1963 of Stanton High School, in the city of Stanton, county of Martin, state of Texas, being of questionably sound mind, poor health, and frazzled nerves, do hereby leave and bequeath these - our last wishes and possessions. Article I To the teachers, who have gone through the ordeal of showering us with knowledge, we leave our sincerest gratitude for theirelforts and hope that someday they may have a class brighter than this one. To the seniors of 1964 we leave the confidence that they will fill our places worthily. To the coming juniors, we leave, glad of the fact that they are getting closer and closer to being seniors. To the sophomores we leave all that high and mighty, know-it-all feeling that comes with the seoond year of high school. To the freshmen we leave the memories ofa year that is probably the happiest year in high school. - Article II I, Larry Adkins, leave my poetic ability to Harold Cain. I, Dewey Anderson, leaveto Carol Ringener thepriviledge to stay in school one more year. I, jimmy Barnhill, leave - I hope! I, joe Earhart, leave to distribute my talents to a waiting world. I, Bob Stephenson, leave my hot temper in the hopes that someone will bury it. I, Ted Stewart, just leave. I, Alton McCormick, otherwise known as McGruder, leave my definitions of words to anyone who can understand them. I, Bud Glaspie, leave my typing skill to just anyone who needs it. I, Bill Graves, leave to all the boys my art of catching Girls. I, james Mashburn, leave my office as President of the Rest Room Club to Gary Doshier. I, jerry Overby, leave in hopes tomorrow will be better. I, David Owen, leave my driving ability to janis Morrison. I, Lynch Hightower, leave my flirtatious ways to Wayne Woody.
