It is customary to dedicate the Yearbook to some one Who has made a definite contribution in some manner to the well being or the progress of the school. In the immediate past years this dedication has been to an individual or to a small group of individuals. There is a large group of individuals which makes it possible every school year for the High School to publish the type of Yearbook we think is representative of our school and community. To this group we Want to express our most sincere thanks for the continued support given our book. In consideration of these things, we, the Staff of the 1962 Buffalo Round Up, do dedicate this Volume Seventeen of the Round Up to our Sponsors - the merchants of Stanton, Big Spring, And Midland - who have helped us every year by advertising in our Yearbook. Again it is the time of the year when it is my privilege to bring congratulations to the Yearbook Staff and to its Sponsor for the completion of the book. I do congratulate you on your achievements and success in this publication. Also I Wish to congratulate the many departments of our school on the achievements they are making in an educational Way and for the successful development of our boys and girls as citizens of tomorrow. Congratulations should also go to the members of the Student Body for their efforts in casting off the selfish and petty things of life and Working together as a group for the success of our schools.
