It is not a surprise that Jim Sale was selected for the Who's Who. Jim has participatedin athletics all four years winning honorable mention his Junior andSenior years. He was captain of the Stanton Buffaloes his Senior year. Jim has also been an active member in the Letterman's Club for four years. Jim also has the interest of all his classmates and students. He has served as class officer for three years, been Class Favorite, and Student Council Treasurer. He has been active in agricultural activities being a mem- ber ofthe FFA for three years and an officer his Junior year. Jim was on the annual staff his Freshmen year as Sports Editor. His popularity with the students is shown by his being elected Mr. SHS and Friendliest his Senior year. All must agree Jim is certainly a credit to our school as a leader and student. New JIM SALE, Senior A girl whose accomplishments are known by all is Glenda Payne. She has been active in many extra-curricular activities including basketball for three years on the B team and basketball manager her Jr. and Sr. Years. She participated on the volleyball team all four years. Glenda was a member of the Pep Squad ever since she came to Stanton High. Glenda has held several honors in high school by being President of the Student Council her Senior year and a member for three years, She attended TASC and SASC. She became a member of the National Honor Society her Sophomore year and held the office of Secretary, To show her popularity with the students she was elected Most Likely to Succeed. Glenda has also played an important part in her church, and has GLENDA PAYNE, Senior A tall, dark, handsome fellow that we all know Well is Sammy Webb. He has been active in all kinds of sports. He played football his Junior and Senior years, serving as captain his Senior year. He played basketball on the B team his Sophomore year and then moved up to the A team his Junior year. He has been inthe Letterman Club two years and served as an officer his Senior year. He also served on the track team his Junior year. i During his Junior year he achieved several honors by participating in the speech play, Junior play, and Senior play. He was Halloween Prince and Bas - ketball Beau. During his Senior year he proved to be very popular.
