This year's Junior play was a big success. With many hours of hard work and the new auditorium on their side, the juniors brought in approximately 600 people. The play was a good ol' hillbilly com- edy and the cast played it to the tee. The audience thoroughly en- joyed the play and they were kept laughing until curtain call. Cast members included: Lance Car- rithers, as Paw; Shari Campbell, as Maw; Teri Sadler, as Ceelie; Holly Jordan, as Bonnie Mae; Terri Scrivner, as Four; Laura Hume, as Five; Elaine Post, as Six; which concludes the Bels- nickle family. The Upschlagers, Obeey and Chiz were Tim Bluhm and Keith Thompson. The strang- ers, Ronald and Lucy Maxwell, were Donnie Von Hemel, and Tammy Martin. The hillbilly reverend was Nathan Luna. Cousin Zeke, Tim Hampton, and the cousins, Mike Pearce, Debra Glasscock, Earl Van Hooser, Win- elda Wamock, Julie Kendrick, and Shelley Brown highlighted the play with the beginning of the feud and the so-called hillbilly music. It was fun to see as well as fun to do. Directors Phil Thornton and Dee Claassen enjoyed direct- ing as well as the cast enjoyed acting! 14
