Class Of 1918 Fiftieth Anniversary Neva Jones Neva Jones Pudge Lycan, Colorado Fifty years ago the Class of 1918 became the first to graduate from any high school in Stanton County. Since then progress has been made possible by dedicated men and women doing their best to give to their children and grandchildren all the opportunities for an education. The first graduating class consisted of three young ladies: Neva Jones, Georgia Walker and Leah Yinger. In observance of this fiftieth anniversary the members of the first class should be recognized for their achievements and honored for their work. They paved the way for many future graduates. % Jubilant Juniors Prepare For Last Year The juniors did a great job in the fall magazine sales project and sold more magazines than any previous class. Individuals also brought credit to the entire class in the fields of sports, music, science and service. With the selection of class rings, improvement of scholastic records, and the production of a wonderful Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom, the juniors are well prepared for their responsibilities as seniors next year.
