Some tears there are that lie Too deep for men to see, Or seeing understand such tears Are those we have for him. Today and through the years Until our span of life is done We still can see the smile That was so much a part of him. His voice we still can hear; It held the love of life, The welcome touch, For those of us he left who care. Someone has said, We die a little, too When death comes to A well beloved friend.
