.Q .int FRESHMA PL Y Hello Frxends In the Freshman Class Play coached by Mrs Bolon a group of teen agers on a plc n1c near an old log cabln start wonderlng rdly about nme space and drmensron Some argue that there rs no possrbrlrty of pro ject1on 1nto elther the past or the future As they talk drm frgures dressed rn colomal costumes appear and dance a stately mmuet Rlp Van Wlnkle plays queer pranks on them a group of prrates hunt out a mrscreant and hang hrm and two lovers from the past express thelr love m a Stephen Foster song All of thls takes place there before them but IS mvrsrble to them They are un easy because they sense somethmg unusual about the place They talk of the future and of the possrbxlrty of lxfe on other planets A Space Man whom they cannot see walks among them and lrstens to therr conversa tron Suddenly Flymg Saucers appear These they can see and they become frxghtened The Space Man strll mvxsxble to them sxg nals to the Flyrng Saucers and runs out to be taken away The questrons of txme space and drmensron are stlll unsolved I know forl Rrp was there
