Students attending our schools are training now for the responsibilities they will assume later as adults and citizens. Their training grounds are our schools. At present, America is endangered by outside influences. Our way of life, our system of education is under strict observation and criticism. However, we, the future citizens of America are aware of the challenge, and confident that with the help of our parents, our schools, our communities we can meet that chal- lenge. This we must strive to attain. Therefore, we, the Leland Stanford Junior High class of 1958, dedicate this book to Faith in the Future of America.
