CADET BAND Stanford has been very fortunate this year in having many fine music groups. They have worked diligently to gain their good reputation. This year, during the annual Solo and Ensemble Festival, the many talented students in the instrumental department, showed their ability with their out- standing performances. Earlier in the year, 42 members of the orchestra and ,band together were chosen to represent Stanford in the All-City Junior High Orchestra. The choral department participated in their festival and earned top honors with their singing. This year has been truly one of the most prosperous for our music depart- ments.
