NINTII GRADE AWARDS Six fortunate, yet well-deserving students were chosen for the coveted junior high school awards this year at Leland Stanford Junior High School. These awards are given annually to the selected students of the graduating class who have shown the highest qualities of leadership, citizenship, and scholarship, and for their services to the school in all fields. The ninth graders are chosen by both the faculty and the administrators of the school. From the entire graduating class only eighty students were eligible, and of these eighty, six were finally selected. The awards are the Daughters of the American Revolution award, the American Legion awards, and the Lion's Club awards. The D.A. R. award is given to the most outstanding girl in all fields. The American Legion awards are presented to one girl on the basis of sportsmanship, leadership, and citizenship. Three students, either boy or girl, qualify with outstanding records to be recipients of the Li0n,s Club awards. D. A. R. ..... ..,.......
