N Hmm 5 Marlene Patterson, as cute a gal as you can find is one of the best in cheerleading. Maye Ball, a sophomore, is right in there yelling and cheering for the boys as much as she can. Lo Anne Fields, a junior in high school, is full of pep. She has added a lot to the cheering squad. Needie Cox, as well as being one of the best-liked girls in school, does her share in keeping up the morale of the boys, Ann Abel Pettus, a dark-haired miss of the junior class really knows how to keep the people cheering whether the boys are winning or not. Doris Jean Weaver, a brown-eyed lass from the senior class is one of the best cheerleaders Stanford has ever had. The boys will certainly miss hearing her cheer them on in next year's season. 19
