CLASS PROPHECY Joan Von Gruenigen is debating important issues in the senate while Dr. Blackerby has an office in a nearby town with Jane Ann as his receptionist. Billy Timberlake has become famous as Einstein’s assistant, Bar- bara Farmer for her original hair styles, Margaret Ellen as an artist. Peggy Foster as a powers model, and Dallas Roberts as the head coach at U. K Annabelle Blackerby, Marianne Clark, Mary Fred Leedy, and Helen Davis are teaching in old S.H.S. Peggy Adams, now Mrs. Sandidge, is working hard to keep Flop’s socks mended. Jo Leta West is housekeeping, while Amy VonLinger and Thelma Lasure are having a hard time teaching the little Govers. Helen Morris has moved to one of the best cattle farms in Boyle County. Both Betty Turpin and Doris Long are happily married. Clarence Rankin and Bill Hansford, with their wives, are joint owners of a farm in the blue grass section. Julia Ann Bradshaw, head nurse of Stanford Hospital, was recently married to Coleman Young, manager of Kroger Store. Lloyd Chadwell has worked hard to be the most scientific farmer in Lincoln County, and Jimmy Carson takes care of his sick horses, while occasionally Zack Saufley comes around to lecture on new met- hods of farming. Mildred Rambo is now private secretary to the president of Gen- eral Motors and Bernice French is a stewardess for Eastern Air Lines. Clarence Rankin wills his ability to get along with women to Sonny Hocker. Annabelle Blackaby wills her ability to sew to Robert Langford. Nick Blackerby wills his ability as baby-sitter to Jane Ann Dozier. Harold Kelley leaves his height to Dick Dunn. Harry Pence leaves his ability to get along with Miss Grimes to Johnny Baughman. Helen Davis leaves her five feet eight inches to Pauline Watts. Doris Long wills her talkative ability to Billy Beck. Julia Ann Bradshaw' couldn’t decide what to do with Coleman, but she finally decided that he w'ould be in safe hands if she left him in care of Tippy Noe- Mildred Rambo wills her ability to catch a surveyor to Mayme Hooker. Betty Turpin wills her long, pretty hair to Eetty Lou Davis. Bernice French wills her skating ability to Myrtle Gooch. Peggy Foster wills her tight skirts to Patsy Spoonamore. Jo Leta West leaves her little shoes to Juel Stears. Dallas Roberts wills his toothpaste smile to Bobby Hatfield. Billy Hansford wills his ability to play basketball to Sammy Rochester. Zack Saufley leaves his ability to tear up a car to Anita Thompson Billy Timberlake wills his expert brains to Billy Turpin. Barbara Farmer leaves her beautician ability to Bay Leedy. Mary Ann Clark wills her wandering mind to Peggy Northcutt. Thelma Lasure wills her red hair to Mr. Embry. Jimmy Carson leaves his ability to be dumb in Latin to Ann Abel. Also, we the Seniors of ’48 leave our deepest sympathy to S.H.S. who we are sure will need it with the Seniors of ’49.
