Dancing: The only full contact sport you can do without using pads. comm 1987 Homecoming was a week of success. Our football team came out on top over Sherman Co. by the score of 41 to 6. Other events of the week were our dress up days. The days ranged from Cowboy and Indians to Heavy Metal. SHS students had great spirit with the seniors winning the spirit stick. They won by having the most participants during the days. The Powder Puff game was a kill-this year. The Juniors and Sophomores had just the right stuff to win, but the casualties were high. The injuries ranged from a black eye to broken fingers. On the lady-like side of things, is our 1987 Homecoming Court. Jenny Clarke as the queen, the princesses were Angie Chavez, Renee Ough, and Amy Himmerich. Our court looked very nice this year.
