From the beginning to the end, the Music Dept, has experienced an exciting year. During football season, the band and drill team featured a halftime show honoring our Homecoming Queen and her court. Later in November we presented a Fall Concert starring both instrumental and vocal. This was followed shortly by the Christmas Season, with a tree decorating party and our home-style Yule Tide Concert. April 13, a Friday no less, our choir braved the unlucky number to participate In the small schools Choir Festival where, in individual choir, we rated third. April 23, on the road early, our band combined with Echo's band to give a joint concert the same evening. May 17-19 took three of our students down to MUSIC IN MAY, a festival that selected talented high school students, numbering close to 1000, working together under top directors to present a true musical experience for all. Those chosen to represent our school were Crls Snyder, from band, and Deanna Coombes and Joan Waters, both from choir. Our year ended with the choir singing for baccalaureate and our band playing at graduation.
