LIST WILL HI! TESTAMENT State of North Carolina County of Stanly Town of Stanfield We, the class of 1951, of Stanfield High School, in twelve individual parts, being about to leave this home where we have spent many happy and useful years, do make and publish this our last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills any time heretofore made. During our short sojourn here, we have obtained many worldly and valuable possessions, which is fitting that we dispose of since we cannot take them with us. According to the dictates of our hearts and conscience, we do hereby dispose of these as follows: Section I Article 1. We will and bequeath to our beloved Alma Mater our loyalty, respect, and all trophies which we have had a part in winning. Article 2. To the members of the faculty, we do will and bequeath the pleas- ant memories of our smiling faces, dignified conduct, and ever ready answers. We will always be grateful for your efforts and patience with us. Article 3. To the members of the Junior Class we do will and bequeath our beloved home room, our distinguished section in assembly, all our Senior privi- leges which we have so graciously observed, and the arduous task of editing the yearbook. Article 4. To the Sophomore Class we do will and bequeath our studious ways and abilities to make A ' s. Article 5. To the Freshman Class we do will and bequeath our athletic abil- ity- section n Article 1. I, Bessie Barbee, do will and bequeath, to Joe Mac McCoy my short stature. Article 2. I, Lee Brattain, do will and bequeath to Melvin Hill my place on the basketball team. Article 3. I, Lillian Brattain, do will and bequeath my athletic ability to Frances Furr. Article 4. I, Helen Brooks, do will and bequeath to Maude Elaine Furr my artistic ability. Article 5. I, Lucile Deese, do will and bequeath to Naomi Huneycutt my ability as an actress. Article 6. I, Grover Herlocker, do will and bequeath to Boyd Honeycutt my happy-go-lucky attitude. Article 7. I, Lois Little, do will and bequeath to Betty Kiser my position as saleslady in the school store. Article 8. I, Mary Little, do will and bequeath to Betty Hill my ability to argue, and all my witty remarks. Article 9. I, F. W. Long, do will and bequeath to C. J. Hinson my position as most dependable. Article 10. I, B. A. Smith, Jr. , do will and bequeath to Phyllis Mills my ability to make an occasional A. Article 11. I, Harding Tucker, do will and bequeath to Robert Little my friendly disposition. Article 12. I, Vernon Tucker, do will and bequeath to Bill Holbrooks my position as president of the class. Section III All the remainder of our property which has not been disposed of, we do give and bequeath to our beloved Alma Mater. We hereby constitute and appoint our sponsor, Mrs. C. F. Henkel, executrix of this our last will and testament. In witness whereof we, the Senior Class of 1951, the testators, have set our seal this eighteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one.
