The Girls with Spirit has been the password of the cheerleaders during the past year. During spirit week the cheerleaders were overwhelmed by the tremendous spirit shown by the students. Each class put on their own skit. From left to right arej Carolyn Whittum, Teri Dunec, (Captain) Kathy Templin, Kris Walker, Meme Klimek, and Paula Cardinal leading our student body in a spirited cheer. Advisor for the cheerleaders is Carol Gibson. Ready to fill in for our cheerleading squads are: JoAnne Pross, Doris Kocot, Kathy Riopelle, and Diane Grout as substitutes. Facts About Track Able to compete in the regionals, Steve Bishop placed first in the 880 with a time of 1:58,8. Also placing in the regional meet was senior Jim Gale with a second in the 100 yard dash, and George Dunn in the mile run with a time of 4:40.8. S-S Central placed seventh with a score of 14. This year the team was coached by Mr. Hart.
