Three students have been chosen this year to attend Junior Engineers ' and Scientists ' Summer Institutes. This organization program is hav¬ ing two week sessions this summer in the fields of science, math, and engineering. Above are pictured: Mrs. Reid, sponsor; Merritt Walker, who is attending the Florida Institute of Technology and Cape Ken¬ nedy in Melborne, Florida; Chriss Ralph, who is attending Willznette University in Salem, Oregon; and Greg Miscisin, who is attending Lamar State College of Technology in Beaumont, Texas, and the Houston Space Flight Center. First Central Students To Attend Summer Workshops The above two students. Miss Gloria Kotz and Miss Kathy Carruthers, have been chosen to be the co-editors for the 1969 Centralian Yearbook and will attend Northwood Institute in Midland for a week session on improving year¬ books. This is the sixth annual publications workshop that Northwood Institute has presented in an effort to improve yearbooks and familiarize the represen¬ tatives of various schools in how to produce a good yearbook and to give new ideas that can be used in their books.
