To us Halloween meant long hours pushing a brush up and down hot store windows, con- soled by the fact that there was a hundred dollar prize for the best design. XVe made dolls, too. Our weird creatures adorned the cupboards of art rooms, dis- played the latest styles. from pigtails to poodles.
