Wash bucks the Albany line. Ray Dean Gressett jr Tackle Football 2 yrs STAMFORD 3 - ANSON 0 . . . The Bulldogs played ex- cellent defense to ooze out a 3-0 victory over Anson. Furious defense play by both teams turned this game into a real thriller. Stamford dominated the statistics, how- ever, and in the third quarter, kicked the field goal that cinched the final score. STAMFORD 21 - HAMLIN 0 . . . A combination of crazy legged backs and a hard charging forward wall chilled a Hamlin crew as the Bulldogs rolled past Hamlin 21-O. Reserves saw much action in this game and showed their power. The Bul1dog's defense was spearheaded by Walk- er, E. Davis, and Harrison. Kelley and Wash accounted for the Bulldog tallies. STAMFORD 35 - CHILDRESS 7 . . . The Stamford- Childress Bi-District tilt proved to be a happy event for the Bulldogs. The roll of defensive standouts for the Bulldogs would read almost the same as the roster. Touchdowns were made by Wash, Kelley, M oritz , and Gray, with Moritz kicking the 4 extra points and Coody completing the final one.
