Manager Begxm originally as a column in the local newspaper, the Bulldog News graduated to the stage of a mimeographed sheet in 1935. Plans and production became more and more the responsibility of students, who worked under the super- vision of instructors. For nine years the paper was published with no interruptions then followed a period of intermittent publication. ln 1952-53 a regular publication plan was again resumed, with a major change in method. lt was then that arrangements were made to have the paper printed by a commercial printing establishrnent, the Stamford-American. Wendeborn - Sports Editor The 1953-54 monthly editions of the Bulldog News are the result of continued student effort. Profiting from foundation principles established by their predecessors, staff members have been able to assume additional duties. They now are assigned all the details of publishing, including the menial tasks. This, as are numerous other student activities, is an extra-curricula project, and all work is done outside class hours. eau Margaret Cooper Asst. Editor www- M 1 u .iq xt .
